Find out more about Billy Boguard and IAKO:

Billy Boguard

Billy is a Folk singer-songwriter, who writes, plays and sings from the heart adding to it a blend of imagination and psyche that culminate to betray his own feelings to find the simple truth of storytelling. His enchanting sound is inspired by artists such as Neil Young, Bon Iver and Damien Rice.

Check out his latest single DNA here:

In his debut EP, ‘When The Tide Recedes’, IAKO explores the contrast between the silent and inexorable power of nature and the blaring hubris of human progress. His ethereal vocals and cinematic arrangements breathe in symbiosis with the sounds of nature, creating unpredictable orbits in which tension and release chase each other tirelessly.

IAKO’s music draws from the intimate world of indie-folk singer-songwriters such as Lisa Hannigan and James Vincent McMorrow, and minimalist composers Erik Satie and Yann Tiersen, to create a unique blend of brooding lyrical content and mellifluous sound textures.
